Hazel Mace Poling Knotts

Hazel Mace Poling Knotts, 91 of Tunnelton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Pine Ridge in Kingwood. She was born August 27, 1925 in Taylor County, daughter of the late Otis and Anna Rosier Poling. She formerly worked at Kinney Shoe Factory. Hazel loved crocheting, her cats and reading her Bible. Hazel was a Pentecostal Sunday School teacher in Valley Point. Hazel is survived by five children, Chris Miller and Gerald, Morgantown, Faith Taylor and John, Kingwood, Cheryl Knotts, Tunnelton, Mark Knotts and Robin, Kingwood, and one adopted son, Michael J Wolfe, Moatsville; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pam McNear and Helen Hess both of Clarksburg, Pat Lyons and Bobby Farley and Jim, both of Beverly; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Cleo Knotts Sr. in 1989, one son, Albert Cleo Knotts Jr in 2016. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 2-8 pm ¬¬¬¬¬and from Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service at 12 noon, with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating.
