Lillian Maxine Wolfe

Lillian Maxine Wolfe, 87 of Tunnelton, WV, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Janet's Heavenly Home, Fellowsville with family by her side. She was born November 2, 1929 in Tunnelton, daughter of the late Clinton Arnold and Gladys Plum Funk. Lillian was a housewife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She worked outside of the home at Ruby's Chicken Factory in Oakland, MD, the Glass Factory, Grafton, Westinghouse in Fairmont and Morgantown, and Camp Dawson in Kingwood for many years. She loved hunting, bingo, going on senior center trips, working in her garden, and talking on the phone. Lillian was a member of the West End United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Larry Wolfe and wife, Renee, Tunnelton; three granddaughters, Tressa Wolfe, Tunnelton, Kim Goodwin and husband, Jeff, Thornton, Regenia Hershman and husband, Dallas, Moatsville; three great-grandchildren, Kayla Hershman and husband, Jason, Harrisonburg, VA, Daisy Hershman and Lilly Hershman, both of Moatsville; one brother, Edward Funk and wife, Donna, Tunnelton; one sister, Betty Thompson, Morgantown; several nieces and nephews; great grand puppies, Chloe and Zoey. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her first husband, William Clyde Wolfe, second husband, Walter Centiwhitz; three sons, Darrell Wolfe, Carroll Wolfe and Terry Wolfe; three daughters, Sue Wolfe, Bonnie Wolfe and Nancy Metz; two sisters, Anna Mae Murray and Audrey Wolfe; two brothers, Bob Funk and Farris Funk. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 2-8 pm, and Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 9 am until the time of service at 11am with the Pastor Sonny McNear officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Israel Cemetery at Marquess.
