Phillip Lee Sharp

Phillip Lee Sharp, 49 of Tupelo, MS formerly of Independence, passed away on July 3, 2017. He was born on February 5, 1968 in Buckhannon, son of Edward Glen Sharp, Independence and the late Katheryn Jean Bowman Sharp. He loved farming and lived in Tupelo, MS for the last 20 years. Phillip is survived by three sons, Donald and Joseph Sharps in WV, James Sharp in Oklahoma; two daughters, Michelle Sharp and Ann Marie Sharp both of Oklahoma; several grandchildren, three brothers, Charlie W Sharp, Newburg, David R Sharp and Wendy, Independence, Everett J Sharp and Vera, Tunnelton; one sister, Loretta J Poling and Bud, Grafton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, Phillip was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Sharp. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 11 am until service at 1 pm, with Rev Ray Frankhouser officiating.
