Robert Milroy Ridenour

Robert Milroy Ridenour, 86 of Tunnelton, WV, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at home with his family by his side. He was born January 2, 1931 on Laurel Mountain, son of the late Ralph and Ruth Plum Ridenour. Robert served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a Material Handler for Ford Motor Company for over 31 years. He loved hunting and being outdoors. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Louise Bucklew Ridenour; three children, Robert W Ridenour, Akron, OH, Ronda R Shaffer and Tom, Ravenna, OH, and Regina R Shaffer and Bob Dove, Akron, OH; seven grandchildren, Melisa Kelsey, Brandy Gary and Mike, Amber Bugaj and Dan, Racheal Main and Matthew, Robert Shaffer and Rachel, Kayleigh Shaffer and Jeremy, Kathleen Shaffer and Collin; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald V Ridenour and Waneta, Tunnelton; two sisters, Margaret Knotts, Stow, OH, Guiula V Gates and Sam, Ark., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Knotts; one brother, Charles Ray Ridenour. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 12 Noon-2 PM.
