Tammy Lee Hershman

Tammy Lee Hershman, 52 of Charleston, WV (Big Chimney Community) passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House. She was born March 6, 1965 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV, daughter of Mary Ridenour Hershman Teets and husband Robert, Reedsville, and the late Vance Hershman and his wife Ettie Moreland Hershman of Fellowsville. She is also survived by one sister, Cheri L Hershman and companion, Sam Imperial of Clarksburg, step siblings, Tammy Braham Counts and Thomas of Roanoke, VA, Robert Teets Jr. and Kelli, Morgantown, Roberta Huss and Brian, Gerard, OH, Theresa Libert and Ronald, Madison, WI, Norma Dangelo and Gary, Chippewa, OH, Brenda Wiles and Bill, Richmond, VA, and Clayton "Bo" Eagle, Kingwood; numerous, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Tammy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Pearl Bolyard Ridenour; paternal grandparents, Alma Knotts and Dale Hershman. Tammy graduated from Central Preston High School, Class of 1983. She was the manager of Rally's Restaurant in Charleston where she worked for over twenty years. She loved her cats and fur babies, Tisha, Shakey and Toby. She was a great friend, upbeat and looking out for others. She was an avid Steelers Fan and loved all football. Tammy was always the generous type, forever making sure that whatever was hers was yours. From the family, a very special thank you to her friends and neighbors of her community, Lea Ann Landers and Kelli Hawkins, and Chris Seabolt and family whom was like a son. Family and friends will be received Hafer Funeral Home, 50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071 on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4-7pm; at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, on Saturday, March, 18, 2017 from 2pm-8pm, and on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 11 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Joey Ridenour officiating.
