Anna Rose (Swann) Burgoyne

Anna Rose (Swann) Burgoyne, 92 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on April 1, 2019 at Pine Ridge in Kingwood. She was born on August 6, 1926 in Parkersburg, daughter of the late Louis W Swann and Madeline Harvey Wolfe. Anna Rose was a homemaker and loved farming. She was a member of Mount Israel United Methodist Church. Anna is survived by three grandchildren, Candy Ricketts and Harry, Brian Bever, Beverly Bever all of Baltimore, MD;  and seven great-grandchildren, Alaina Poling Gay and Johnny, Belcamp, MD, Glen Matthews and Brianna Ricketts, Baltimore, MD, Taylor Keeton and Aaron, Kentucky, Jordyn Bever and Brooks Bever, Belair, MD, Madison Bever, Bel Air, MD; three great-great grandchildren, Lucas Gay, Belcamp, MD, Beau Keeton and Brantley Keeton, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Judy Shaver Bever; Baltimore, MD; three sisters, Jean Hawk and Ron, Cumberland, MD, Patricia Harber, Pasadena, MD, Vanessa Britner and Stephen, Apex, NC; Best friends ever Kip and Linda Colebank and family,  Bill Stone. In addition to her parents, Anna Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Jack (Andy) Burgoyne, one son, Keith A Bever, two brother, Norman Wolfe, William Swann; one uncle, Earl Harvey; step-father, Aubrey Wolfe; grandparents, George and Rosalie Harvey and Rev. W.D. Swann and Anna Swann. The family would like to thank the staff at Pine Ridge for the great care they provided Anna. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Friday, April 5, 2019 from 2-8pm, and at the Mount Israel United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 10am until time of service at 11am with the Rev. Rotha (Ruth) Hall officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Israel Cemetery at Marquess.
