Brenda Kay (Owens) Cole

Brenda Kay Cole, 58 of Morgantown, WV, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born on October 21, 1959 in Fellowsville, WV, daughter of the late Daniel Oscar Owens Sr. and Mary Imogene Owens Stevenson. Brenda loved spending time with her family sitting on the porch and talking. She is survived by four children, Brenda Gale Booth and husband Chad, NC, Jason Lee Mitter, Wheeling, Amanda Dawn Davis, Fairmont, Joshua Paul Mitter, Keyser; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Virginia Mitter and husband Aaron, Newburg, Becky McAtee, Fairmont, Ruby Wolfe, Terra Alta; one brother, Reuben Owens and Missy, Tunnelton; and best friend for many years, Jack Lambert;  several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by one son, Charles Daniel Mitter, one brother, Danny Owens, two sisters, Mary Boice and Joyce Owens. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Friday, August 10, 2018 from 2-8pm, and Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 9am until time of service at 11:00 am with Chaplain Chad Booth officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mount Israel Cemetery at Marquess.
