Evelyn Louise (Sigley) Anderson

Evelyn Louise Anderson, 80 of Aurora, WV formerly of Laurel Mountain, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Garrett Memorial Hospital. She was born September 25, 1938 on Laurel Mountain, daughter of the late Harold Morris and Edna Marie Dixon Sigley.  Evelyn graduated from Fellowsville High School Class of 1956. She worked as a nurse assistant for many years. She loved working and being outdoors. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and her grandson, Aaron who was her caretaker for many years. Evelyn is survived by three sons, Walter Anderson, McHenry, MD, Leslie Anderson and Robin, Grantsville, MD, Robert Anderson  and Melinda, Laurel Mountain; three daughters, Cheryl Ward and Rick, Aurora, Ramona Perando and Randy, Dunnellon, FL, Regina Dzielski and Dale, Fairmont; nine grandchildren, Jon Anderson, Aaron Ward, Amanda Weimer, Joshua Dzielski, Christy Thomas, Jason Anderson, Jacob Anderson, Bobby Anderson and Karah Anderson; four great-grandchildren, four step grandchildren and ten step great-grand grandchildren; one sister, Donna Ridenour and Willie, Moatsville, two brother, Hugh Sigley, Hagerstown, MD, Ralph Sigley and Glenna, Moatsville; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Anderson Sr. in 1999, one son, John Robert Anderson Jr, one sister, Helen Duckworth. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Monday, January 21, 2019 from 1-7 pm, and at the Christian Evangelical Church at Birdscreek on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 12 Noon until time of service at 1pm with the Pastor Jeff Anderson officiating.
