Gloria J Dennis Baylor

Gloria Jean Dennis Baylor, 73 of Newburg, WV went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born on March 13, 1945 in Newburg, daughter of the late Vester “Dink” W and Oda Odell Johnson Lyons. She was a faithful member of the Solid Rock Church and Newburg Senior Center in Newburg. She loved family gatherings. She was loving and devoted to her family and friends. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Gloria is survived by three daughters, Sheila Bell, Yolanda White and husband Mark, Lawanda Wolfe and husband Frankie, fifteen grandchildren, Charlotte Curfiss and husband Dave, Donald Lyons and wife Barb, Eric Lyons, April Bates and husband Robert, Matthew Palmer and wife Joselyn, Marvin Bell and companion Kelcie, Rebecca Shrout and husband Larry, Angela Goff and husband Sheldon, SSG. Camellia Richardson and companion Shawn, Jessica White-Lovejoy and husband David, Nathan Bell and wife, Caroline, Shane Spencer and companion Bethany, Shaun Spencer; twenty seven great-grandchildren, Avah, Adelyn, Asher, Grayson, Savannah, Kyndall, Callie, Nevaeh Gabriel, Sebastian, Brody, Brian, Della, Erica, Eric, Stefanie, Cody, Kayla, Leah, Mackensy, Gage, Page, Dominic, Brodie, Kalani, Riley, Everleigh; four great-great grandchildren, Kyle, Trae, Axton and Dustin; three brothers, Donald “Duck” Lyons and Linda, Richard Lyons and Debbie, Roger “Speedy”Lyons and Alice;  two sister, Connie Larew, Darlene Adams and Fred; one brother-in-law, Robert Taylor; one sister-in-law, Betty Jo Lyons;  several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her first husband, Louie C Dennis in 1982, second husband, George "Fred" Frederick Baylor in 2016; one daughter, Beverly Lyons, two brothers, Albert Lyons, John Allen Lyons; four sisters, Charlene Taylor, Bonnie Sue Lyons, Margaret Barto and Judy Stockdale; one brother-in-law, Earl Larew, son-in-law, Marvin “Beardy” Bell. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Monday, February 18, 2019 from 2-8 pm, and Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 9am until time of service at 11am with the Pastor Delbert Lyons officiating.
