Janet Kay (Patton) Chambers

Janet Kay “Patton” Chambers, 66 of Tunnelton, WV, passed away September 15, 2018 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on April 2, 1952 in Grafton, WV, daughter of the late Lester Ray and Maxine Naomi McDaniel Patton. Janet graduated from Fellowsville High School. She was a member of the York Run Church for many years where she was a trustee. Janet was devoted to her family, friends and church.  Her hobbies were, researching history, taking pictures, being on the farm with her cows and her dogs.  Janet is survived by one sister, Sharon Marie Rose and husband, Randall; one nephew, Bruce Lee Helms and wife, Heather; two great-nephews, Brandon and Codey Helms all of Tunnelton; her beagle dog, Lady. In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Chambers in February 2018. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 3-7 pm. A Graveside service will be on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 11am at Blackwood Cemetery with Rev. Richard Bolyard officiating.
