Melissa Copenhaver, 48 of Kingwood, WV passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her residence with family by her side. She was born May 31, 1969 in Fort Benning, GA, daughter of Pamela Jones White of Morgantown and the late Carl White. Melissa is survived by one son, Jon L Metz and fiancée Courtney Barrackman of Terra Alta; one daughter, Jessica L Metz and companion David Coakley, New Creek, WV; two grandchildren, Aiden and Alexander; fiancé, Perry Glenn Stout, Kingwood; two brothers, Willie White and Bobbi, Morgantown, Brian White and Tonya, Kingwood; one sister, Carla Knotts and Tommy, Fellowsville; several nieces and nephews. Melissa was a health care provider for many in home. She loved arts and crafts, outdoors, walking and telling jokes and making people laugh. Friends will be received at the Mount Israel Community Building on Saturday 13, 2018 from 2pm until time of the Celebration of Life Service at 3:00pm with Pastor Sonny McNear officiating.
