Michael Jason Plum

Michael “Mikey” Jason Plum, 44 of Independence, WV, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019.  He was born August 11, 1974 in Morgantown, son of Calvin Junior and Doris Jean Sapp Plum of Independence. Mikey graduated from Preston High School Class of 1992. He worked for many years at March-Westin and was currently working as a Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Morgantown. His hobbies included: collecting and riding motorcycles, farming, being outdoors, fishing, spending time with family, friends and watching Hockey and Boxing.  He was an avid WVU Sports fan, Pittsburgh Penguins and Wheeling Nailers. Mikey is survived by his wife, Jennifer Renee Williams Plum; two daughters, Taylor Paige Lancaster and Brittney Lynn Plum both of Morgantown; one sister, Christy Jo Cassady and husband Brian, Tunnelton; two nieces, Carly Jo Cassady and Kylie Jolynn Cassady; one nephew, Cameron Lynn Cassady; mother-in-law, Debra Kay DeGolyer, Tunnelton; and father-in-law, Joseph Wayne Williams, Kingwood; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
