Raymond Wesley Cline

Raymond Wesley Cline, 93 of Marquess (Sinclair Road) went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Preston Memorial Hospital with family by his side. He was born February 17, 1924, at Rowlesburg, son of the late Joseph Edward and Estella Blanche Schooley Cline. Raymond served in the United States Army during World War II and was a D-Day Veteran. He retired as a sawmill operator for Ivan G. Vandever in Pruntytown, WV. Raymond was a member of the Harbor of Life Church in Marquess. He loved working the farm and being outdoors. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 71 years, Lois Louise Williams Cline whom he married on March 23, 1946; six children, Linda  Cox and Guy, Kingwood; Connie Cox and David, Fellowsville; Wayne Cline and Pamela, Marquess; Curtis Cline and Amanda, Marquess; Alice Street and Bob, Tunnelton; Jeffrey Cline and Kristine, Aurora; twenty grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one brother, Adam Cline, and wife Anna Mae, Marquess; one sister, Myrl Murray, Marquess; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by one daughter, Carrol Roxanna Nine, four sisters, Thelma Friend, Hazel Colebank, Ova Funk and Evelyn Cline in infancy; two brothers, Russell Cline and Marvin Cline. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 1-7 pm, and at the Harbor of Life Church on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 12 noon until time of service at 1 pm with the Rev Sam Cline officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Zion Cemetery, Marquess Rd, Moatsville. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Col.
