Robert “Bob” V. Turner Sr., 80 of Fellowsville, WV, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at his residence with family by his side. He was born on November 27, 1937 in Long Branch, NJ, son of the late William Eugene and Stella Mae Hitchens Turner. Bob served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Gateway NRA at Sandy Hook Unit in NJ as a Master Carpenter and B.U. Forman, and was a life time member of the American Legion Post #143 in Highlands, NJ, member of 40/8 Monmouth County and a NRA member. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, hunting rabbit, turkey and deer’s. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Gale Ann Esbrandt Turner, three children, Robert Vincent Jr., Parsippany, NJ, Terri L Turner, Highlands, NJ; Traci Flumer, Orange City, FL; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Heather, Nicole, Victoria, Dana, Robert III, and Luke; four great grandchildren, Carlee, Lucy, Lily and Caleb; two sisters, Rhoda Mae Smith, Mesquite, TX, Suzie Valentino, Weatherford, TX; three brother-in-law, William Esbrandt, Scantion, PA, Thomas Esbrandt and Elizabeth, Eulas, TX, Keith Esbrandt and Lynn, Union Beach, NJ; one niece, Allison and Timothy McGoughran, Ocean, NJ. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his three brothers, Joseph Turner, David Turner, Steven Turner and Iris Hadley, father and mother-in-law, Fredrick G Esbrandt and Margaret E Schreiber Esbrandt, and best friends, John “Jack” and Patricia Anne Splain. Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, is handling the arrangements for the Turner Family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 1pm at residence, with Mark Bennett officiating.
