Victor Dale Boylen

Victor Dale Boylen, 78 of Independence, WV passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 with family by his side. He was born on September 10, 1940 in Independence, son of the late Audrey A and Loretta V Foutz Boylen. Victor had worked for Daltons Sawmill, Ohio Atlas Coal Company and was self-employed for many years. He loved tinkering with lawn mowers, cutting firewood and being outdoors. Victor is survived by three children, Paul Larew and wife Teena of Kingwood, WV, Katrinka McCrobie and husband Earl of Kingwood, Margie Roberts, Panama City, FL; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Boylen, Arthurdale, Bill Boylen, Blacksville; one sister, Margaret Barker, Grafton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Victor was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Louise Boylen in 2011; one son, Victor James Boylen; four brothers, Jack Boylen, Junior Boylen, Gene Boylen and Robert Boylen. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 3 - 7 pm and Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 9 am until service at 11 am with the Rev. Richard Bolyard officiating. Interment will follow at the Hunt Cemetery, Scotch Hill, Newburg. Online condolences can be sent to www.bolyardfuneralhomewv.com.
