Waneta Patricia (Williams) Ridenour

Waneta Patricia Williams Ridenour, 82 of Tunnelton, WV (Laurel Mountain Community) passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born April 22, 1937 in Tunnelton, daughter of the late Gail Ronald and Ethel Marie Mitter Williams. Waneta was Methodist by Faith. Waneta loved quilting, collecting doll babies and camping at the Cheat River. She worked for Camp Dawson in the kitchen. Waneta is survived by her loving husband whom she married on May 6, 1955, Donald Vance Ridenour; four children, Roger W Ridenour and Darlene, OH,  Patricia Ann Klima and Bob, FL, Donald E Ridenour, OH, Connie M Burrell and Rick all of Ohio; several grandchildren;  great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; five brother, Ronald Williams and Dorothy, Ohio, Ray Williams and Janet, Arthurdale, Lloyd Williams and Christine, Tunnelton, Raymond Williams and Judy, Howesville, Willard Williams and Dorothy, Tunnelton; one sister, Vivian “Poohie” Long, OH;  several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Waneta is preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra R Lee; one son-in-law, Ponce Lee; two grandchildren, three brother, Clyde R Williams Sr, Charles Williams and Richard Williams; two sister, Cleo Dunham and Janie Stevenson. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 4-8pm, and, Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 12 noon until time of service at 2pm with the Rev. Dave Spence officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Israel Cemetery at Marquess. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to WV Caring P.O. Box 760 Arthurdale WV 26520.
