Allen Ray Myers, Sr

Allen Ray Myers Sr, 74 of Tunnelton, WV (Campground Road),  passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Preston Memorial Hospital. He was born February 28, 1944 in Rowlesburg, son of the late Luther J and Velma Friend Myers.  Allen retired as an equipment operator from Grimm Lumber in Terra Alta. He loved working on automobiles and building cabinets. He was an avid hunter. Allen is survived by his companion of twenty eight years, Rosemary Mayne, one son, Allen Ray Myers, Jr, Rowlesburg, one special son, Joseph Brian Mayne and wife Betty, Tunnelton; one sister, Phyllis J Knotts and Tom, Mount Israel; one aunt,  Ruby Friend Sanders, Loraine, OH; his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by two grandsons, Charles DelSignore and Justin Nestor; one sister, Shirley Myers. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 3-7 PM, and Friday, January 25, 2019 from 9 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM with Rev.
