Barbara “Dolly” Jean Burgoyne Casteel, 68 of Newburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1953 in Newburg, daughter of the late Robert Emmett and Mildred Virginia Cain Burgoyne. Barb graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1970. She loved gardening, doing crafts and talking on the phone to her sisters. Barb is survived by one daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Hershman and Jason, Evansville, seven grandchildren, Ryan Pyles, Samantha Hershman, Mackenzie Hershman, Jadyn Hershman, Zane Casteel, Payton Casteel and Sarah, Emily and Caleb Maley, two great-granddaughters, Eliza and Aubrey; three brothers, Richard Burgoyne Sr and June, Max Allen Burgoyne Sr and Janie, Danny Burgoyne and Janet; three sisters, Beverly Graham and Eric, Loretta Goff and Mark, Pam Funk and Vance; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Jarold (Jerry) Wayne Casteel, one son, Brian J Casteel, four sibling, Roger Burgoyne, Donna Knotts, Mary Knotts and Vonda Summers; father and mother-in-law, Clarence Joshua and Alice Lavern Murphy Casteel.
