Betty Jean (Poling) Shipp

Betty Jean Shipp, 67 of Newburg, WV, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Windy Hill Village in Kingwood. She was born in Barbour County on November 30, 1953, daughter of the late Elbert and Laura May Auvil Poling. Betty loved God and her grandkids, and enjoyed singing hymns. Betty is survived by one son, Joshua Shipp, Newburg; three grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler and Alisia; one sister, Linda Poling, Fairmont. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Junior Leroy Shipp; one son, Matthew Shipp. A private inurnment will be held at the Woodsdale Memorial Park.
