Billie Sue (Smith) Louk, 75 of Tunnelton, WV (Irish Ridge Community) passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on November 1, 1950 in Kingwood, daughter of the late Clifford Hunter and Martha Evelyn (Burke) Smith. Billie graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1968. She enjoyed doing needle point, knitting, traveling and coloring by numbers on her phone. Billie worked at Kinney Shoes Factory in Kingwood, Morgan Shirt Factory in Morgantown, and then for the Preston County Board of Education with over 10 years before retiring. She is survived one daughter, Cynthia Ann Louk and Christopher Rogers, Tunnelton; one son, Steven Ray Louk and wife, Angela, Gassaway, WV; five grandchildren, Samantha Louk, Brittany Collins and Everett, David Louk and Crystal, Alisa Louk and Shayla Louk, step-grandchild, Christina Rogers and Carl; three great-grandchildren, Ivory Louk and Bryer Louk and Kayden Rogers; two sisters, Sandy (Jim) Chambers of Chillicothe, OH, and Carolyn (Roger) Riggs of Rowlesburg; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by, her husband, James “Jim” Edward Louk, in 2024; one great-granddaughter, Braylen Louk; one step-grandchild, Charles Rogers; one sister, Linda and Bill McCrobie; her maternal grandparents, Raymond and Clarice Mae Taylor Burke; her paternal grandparents, Roy and Alice Smith; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 2:00-5:00 PM, and on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM with the Pastor Dave Biggins officiating.
