Charles Hamilton Jackson, 93 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Kingwood Healthcare Center with family by his side. He was born on May 29, 1932 in Kingwood, son of the late Virgil H and Effie G (Miller) Jackson. Charles dedicated 36 years of service to the Allied Chemical Fiber Division in Hopewell, VA, before retiring. He was a devoted member of Camp Chapel Church and enjoyed a fulfilling life surrounded by nature and family. His passions included hunting, fishing, canning, and making jerky. Charles is survived by his five children, Rosanna Adams (Howard), Tunnelton, Charles Jackson (Trina), Louisville, KY, Henry Jackson, York’s Run Road, Eddie Jackson, Austin Rd, Ray Jackson (Angel), Tunnelton; fourteen grandchildren, Lisa Uphold, Brad Adams, Eric Jackson, Michael Jackson, Amber Tenic, Amos Jackson, Molly Catlett, Gina Bowman, Danell Stemple, Edward Jackson, Brina Jackson, Britney Jackson, Jeff Harrison and Greg Harrison; twenty six great-grandchildren, Jordan, Ethan, Ashton, Kaden, Jaden, Aricka, Samantha, Brianna, Kensleigh, Charles, Jackson, Collin, Tyler, Tristan, Kailynn, Jacob, Alyssa, Dillion, Jade, Makayla, Colten, Levi, Hailei, Brandee, Vanessa and Maddix; five great-great grandchildren, Aria, Wrenlee, Owen, Lalona and Austin; one half-brother, William Hamilton Jackson, Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae (Myers) Jackson in 2015, one son, Leo Nathan Jackson, two daughters-in-law, Debbie Jackson and Rhonda Jackson; two half-brothers, Ray Davis Hogin and Robert Allen Jackson; one half-sister, Madeline Jackson. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 4:00 pm with Pastor Tom Strahin officiating.
