Charles “Chucky” Warren Smith, Jr., 43 of Newburg, passed away Tuesday, March 01, 2022 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 7, 1979 in Morgantown, son of the late Charles Warren Smith Sr. and Myrtle Louise Bolyard Smith. Chucky loved hunting and fishing with his son. He was a past employee of JENMAR, Ruby Memorial Hospital, Advance Auto and Wal Mart in the tire center. He was a member of the Newburg VFD. Charles is survived by one son, Cameron Smith and companion, Bethany Miller, Kingwood; Chucky’s companion, Lisa Atkins and her daughter, Emily, Tunnelton; one half-brother, Raymond Bell and Rose, Newburg, one half-sister, Pamela Bell, OH, nieces and nephews, Cassie Plum and Brian, Tunnelton, Amanda Kennedy and Michael, OH, Ashley Bell and Justin, Newburg, Daphne Stemple, OH, Greg Bell, and Julie, Newburg, Michael Stemple, OH; one uncle, Doc Smith, MI; two aunts, Bonnie Smith, Grafton, Violet Pyles, Kingwood. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by four uncles, Francis Smith, Terry Smith, Roy Smith and Kenny Smith; two aunts, Ruth Pyles and Ethel Towns. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11:00 until the time of this Celebration of Life Service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Delbert Lyons officiating. Private Inurment will be at Shay’s Chapel Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his Care Fund on his memorial page.
