Cory Phillip Cox

Cory Phillip Cox, 32 of Reedsville, WV, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022. He was born on March 28, 1990 in Parkersburg, son of Jim Myron Cox and step-mom, Tammy, Belleville; Karen Kay (Meredith) Farra and step-dad, Bruce, Washington. Cory graduated from Parkersburg High School. He was currently working as a Pile Driver for Wagman. Cory enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping and being outdoors. He was a member of the Mill Chapel United Brethren in Christ Church. His whole world was his wife and daughter. Cory is survived by his wife, Stacy Lynn (Thomas) Cox; one daughter, Cali Cox, Parkersburg; one step-son, Eli Johnson, Kingwood; one brother, Tyler Cox, Reynoldsburg, OH; one sister, Jeany Cox, Belleville; grandmother, Carolyn Meredith, Washington, paternal grandparents, Denny and Martha Cox, Belleville, WV, two aunts, Dianna Thomas, Hubert, NC, Becky Berry and Steve, Canton, OH; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marvin and Vickie Thomas, Newburg; several cousins. Cory is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roy Meredith. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 3-8 pm and Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Mill Chapel United Brethren in Christ Church, 6732 Kingwood Pike Reedsville, WV 26547 from 12:00 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00PM with Pastor David Kisamore officiating.
