Donald "Punkin" Franklin Lyons

Donald “Punkin” Franklin Lyons, 53 of Grafton, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born on September 25, 1971 in Manassas, VA, son of Donald “Duck” Paul Lyons (Linda Lou) of Newburg and the late Beverly Louise (Dennis) Lyons in 1993. He graduated from Woodbridge High School, Class of 1990. Punkin previously worked at RRHAMCO. He enjoyed old cars, collecting flags from different colleges, collecting hats, and working on model cars. In addition to his father and step-mother, Punkin is survived by one son, Aiden Jachelski, Grafton; three step-children, Mark Carder, Ann Carder and Jennifer William; seven siblings, Charlotte Marie Curfiss (Dave), Spotsylvania, VA, Jeffery Paul Lyons (Melinda), Newburg, Christy Lynne Lyons, Morgantown, Jonathan Patrick Lyons (Amanda), Albright, Eric Ray Lyons, Morgantown, April Leigh Bates (Robert), Spotsylvania, VA and Matthew Ellis Palmer (Joselyn), Spotsylvania, VA; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his mother, Punkin was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean (Carder) Lyons on September 20, 2020. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 3:00 pm until time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 pm with Minister Dave Curfiss officiating.
