Donna Maria (Sulick) Funk

Donna Maria Funk, 79 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 10, 1943 in Morgantown, daughter of Doris (Wilson) Sulick of Tunnelton and the late John Sulick. Donna was founder and operator at Preston Hope House and served the community for over thirty-eight years. She previously worked at Saint Michaels for seven years and Camp Dawson for six years. She was a member of the Saint Sebastian Catholic Church. Donna loved reading, gardening, doing crafts, traveling, and volunteering. She is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Edward Warren Funk; three children, James “Jim” Funk and Kimberly, Tunnelton, Timothy Funk and Deborah, Tunnelton, Scott Funk, Kingwood; six grandchildren, Stacey Moore and Tommy, Morgantown, James Thomas Funk and Sabrea, Tunnelton, Kristi Tennant, Kingwood, Michael Funk and Megan, Tunnelton, Timothy Funk Jr., Fairmont, Rebakah Funk, Tunnelton; ten great-grandchildren, Thomas, Emily, Payton, Seth, Lucian, Eddie, Malachi, Wyett, Ayla and Dean; one brother, John Sulick, Tunnelton. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 1:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 pm with the Pastor David Biggins officiating.
