Donna Jean Miller

Donna Jean Miller, 75 of Grafton, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at UHC with family by her side. She was born on December 22, 1947 in McHenry, MD, daughter of the late Samuel and Madeline Louise (Miller) Nelson. Donna loved yardwork, watching westerns (especially Gunsmoke), shopping at goodwill, and spending time with her family. Donna had worked as a bar manager at the Eagles and VFW in Kingwood. She is survived by three daughters, Anita Kay Harvey and John, Fellowsville, Joyce Fay Rankin and Scott, Fellowsville, and Mary Elizabeth Shahan, Arthurdale; six grandchildren, Bryan Scott Rankin and Kayla Gamble, Kevin Scott Rankin and Mindy Whitlatch, Chasity Ann (Harvey) Harmon and Nate, Cory Franklin Harvey and Tish, Kayla Dawn Shahan and Sam Martin, and Logan James Whetsell and Annie; seven great grandchildren, Kendra, Kaiden, Nevaeh, Brody, Lexi, Hadley and Raelyn, and one on the way, Nathaniel; four sisters, Shirley Johnson, Tunnelton, JoAnn Zinn, Kingwood, Patty Winter and Chuck, Tunnelton, Rosemary Stone and Charlie, Newburg; one brother, Jim Nelson and Linda, Tunnelton; two special friends, Sherry Peach, Kingwood, and Tootsie Miller, Bruceton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her son, Danny Joe Haskiell; two brothers, Bob Nelson and David Nelson. Family will receive friends at Together 4 Christ Ministries in Kingwood on Saturday, September 16 from 10:00AM until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00AM with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating.
