Donna D (Brown) Swisher

Donna D Swisher, 62 of Fellowsville, WV, Laurel Mountain Community, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born February 25, 1958 at Kingwood, daughter of the late William “Bid” and Christina Louise Tasker Brown. Donna graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1976. She worked at the Newburg Dept. Store, Scotch Hill Dairy Cone, cleaned houses for multiple years and was a homemaker. Donna was a member of the Preston County Women’s Softball League (Chuck’s Store) for twenty years. She loved Bingo, spending Saturday nights or any night with Mike at the Bingo Hall. She also enjoyed family Game Nights. Donna is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike” A Swisher, Fellowsville; one son, David B Swisher and wife Lisa, one grandson, Brady Swisher, and fiancé Payton, Newburg, and on the way, one great-granddaughter, Hayven; four sisters. Wilma Larew and husband, Jim, Newburg, Alberta Curry and husband, Roger, Newburg, Anita Goff and husband, Lewis, Newburg, Rita Murray and husband, Matthew, Yorks Run; one brother, William “Bill” Brown, Newburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mary A Swisher. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 3 to 8 PM with proper distancing and face mask required. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at 11AM with Pastor Richard Bolyard officiating. Interment will follow at West Virginia National Cemetery.
