Edna Pearl (Mitter) Sines

Edna Pearl (Mitter) Sines, 84 of Kingwood, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on September 21, 1940 in Newburg, daughter of the late Woodrow “Chuck” Wilson and Iva Evelyn (Powell) Mitter. Pearl had worked before retiring at Hopemont Hospital as a housekeeper, aide and in laundry. She enjoyed going to the Sagebrush Roundup and listening to country music. Pearl loved spending time with her family and friends and was the last surviving member of her family. Pearl is survived by her husband which she married on November 14, 1980, James Arthur Sines; five children, Carol Lynn Salisbury (Ronald), S Charleston, Connie Elaine Runion (Richard), S Charleston, Cheryl Thomas, Kingwood, Dale Wayne McDaniel, Newburg, Jerry Lee McDaniel (Robin), Terra Alta; one step-son, Anthony Scott Sines and his children, Cody and Brittany; six grandchildren, Nancy, Sheria, Zach, Amy, Kayla and Shane; eight great grandchildren, Jamya, Savannah, Vera Grace, Silas, Benson, Calvin, Nathan and Kaleb; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her one grandson, Matthew McDaniel; one son-in-law, James Thomas; four sisters, Virginia “Gin” Rhodes, Mary Louise Cool; Ella Mae McKendrick and Evelyn J Jennings; two brothers, Clyde Mitter and Erine Mitter. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave., Newburg, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm and on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am with Chaplain Dennis Lusin officiating.
