Edward Paul Cornwell, Jr., 72 of Independence, WV passed away at his sister’s residence on Friday, October 16, 2020 with family by his side. He was born March 8, 1948, in Grafton, son of the late Edward Paul Cornwell Sr and Harriet H Cornwell. Paul worked at Hopemont Hospital on the farm, and several sawmill’s during his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing puzzles, word memory books and collected model trains. Paul is survived by one sister, Barbara Zuchowski and husband Harry of Independence, one brother, Johnny Chambers and wife Patty of Newburg; seven nieces and nephews, Kelly Dalton and husband Randy, Morgantown, Scott Zuchowski and wife Kim, Independence, John Chambers Jr. and wife Tonya, Accident, MD, Jeremy Chambers and wife Tara, Homestead, FL, Amber Chambers, Anchorage, AK, Chad Chambers and Sarah, Independence and Chase Chambers still at home in Newburg; eleven great nieces and nephews, Cody Sheets, Ashley Dalton, Brady Dalton, Tisha Zuchowski, Lily Chambers, Jacob Chambers, Makena Chambers, Cylar Chambers, Reed Chambers, Alex Chambers and Owens Chambers. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 2pm-7pm and Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 9am until time of funeral service at 12 Noon with Pastor Norman Hawkins officiating with proper distancing and face mask required.
