Everett Darrell Everly

Everett Darrell Everly, 89 of Reedsville, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Kingwood Healthcare Center. He was born on November 3, 1935 in Terra Alta, son of the late Troy and Myrtle Mae (Powell) Everly. Everett owned and operated Everly Logging his entire life. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors. Everett is survived by two daughters and spouses, Kim Curtis (Bob), Arthurdale, Melissa Gillespie (Tim), Reedsville; one son and spouse, Rob Everly (Tammy), Morgantown; son-in-law, Rick DeVall, Morgantown; eight grandchildren, April Ferguson (Michael), Ricky DeVall (Olivia), Dustin Curtis, Chuckie Curtis (Valerie), Scott Dixon (Kat), Tyler Dixon (Selina), Abby Chidester (Theron), and Justin Everly; seven-great-grandchildren, Parker and  CJ Ferguson, Bell & Grace DeVall, Sydney, Brooklyn, & Kylie Curtis, Robbie Curtis, Auna Moreland and Zyra Dixon; one brother, Bud Everly (Dolly), Terra Alta; two sisters, Helen Nazelrod, Kingwood and Judy Tasker (Roger), Reedsville; close friend, Denzil Pratt; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Everett was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ann (Chidester) Everly in 2020; one daughter, Deb Devall; one grandson, Michael Everly; one granddaughter, Rachel Curtis; one brother, Don Everly, two sisters, Bonnie Cuppett, Shirley Shaffer. A Graveside service will be at Bethlehem Cemetery on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 10:00 am, with Pastor James “Eddie” Martin officiating.  Online condolences can be made at www.bolyardfuneralhomewv.com.
