Joyce’s parents, Bud & Dorthy Bolyard, were very close to him, and he loved Dorthy’s apple cake. Her brothers, David (Karen) & Jay Bolyard, and their children, David, Shelley, Derek, Lisa & Erin will miss him very much.
Pete was a 1967 graduate of Fellowsville High School & began his work career at age 16 at Dutch's Service Station, Sterling Faucet, & GM in Lordstown, OH, before dedicating 32 years to the CSX RR as a trackman and welder.
No job was too tough for Pete Shahan. He enjoyed cutting firewood, building fences, raising cattle and a huge garden. His sugar shack produced the best maple syrup, and his love of sweets—especially ice cream—was well known. Pete worked hard to keep his 1972 Chevelle in immaculate condition and attended many car shows.
