Goldie Marie Moats, 50 of Kingwood, WV passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Mon General Hospital. She was born on November 5, 1972 in Kingwood, daughter of Glenn Edward Buckingham, Tunnelton and the late Della Jane (Knotts) Buckingham. Goldie graduated from Preston High School. She enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, and working with her flowers. Goldie loved taking care of her grandchildren, and helping everyone. In addition to her father, Goldie is survived by her husband of thirty years, Clarence “Shawn” Moats; three children, Vincent Delaney Turner, Tunnelton, Amber Leigh Carder and Ronnie, Fellowsville, Billy Dean Moats and companion, Heather, Kingwood; five grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Scarlett, Jacob and Ethan; three sibling, Laurie Jane Sigley and Aaron, Tunnelton, Elsie Beth Buckingham, Tunnelton, and Glenn Doil Buckingham, Tunnelton; mother-in-law, Margaret May (Baker) Moats; two sisters-in-law, Diane Lynn Moats and Margaret Michelle Moats; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, Goldie was preceded in death by one sister, Amy Lou Buckingham in 2015; one grandson, TJ Bolyard; father-in-law, Clarence S Moats; one brother-in-law, Robert Allen Moats. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm with the Rev.
