James Haught Obituary

James "Pete" Allen Haught, 57 of Tunnelton, WV passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1962 in Morgantown, son of the late Robert Victor Haught Sr and Shirley Jean Wolfe Haught. He worked for Aspen Tree Service and worked several years on the sawmill. Pete enjoyed fishing, going ginsenging hunting, collecting junk, antiques and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Sonya Lee Sterner Haught; two children, Christy Haught and Danny Owens; three sisters and spouses; Debra Larew and Randy Shipp of Grafton, Gloria and Mark Haddix of Newburg and Rhonda and Brian Amos of Terra Alta; two brother and spouses, Robert and June Haught Jr., Michael Haught all of Tunnelton; best friends, Dave Keener, Dale Wolfe and Pat Bolyard; and his four legged companions, Puggs and Wendy; several nieces and nephews. Per his request he will be cremated with a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on his memorial page on our website to assist family with unexpected expenses. Bolyard Funeral Home and Crematory is honored to assist the Haught family.
