James Mike Sheets

James “Mike” Sheets, 58 of Newburg, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at home with family by his side. He was born February 9, 1962 in Grafton, son of James “Jimmy” Ray and Carole Jean Sapp Sheets of Newburg. Mike graduated from West Preston High School, Class of 1980. He had worked for Bridgestone/Firestone Tire Company in Fairmont.  Mike was survived by one son, Christopher Ray Sheets, Morgantown; two stepsons, Willie Corley and Tammy, Tunnelton, Christopher James Sypolt and Erica, Kingwood; two step-grandchildren, Waylon Sypolt and Scarlett Corley; two brothers, Brian “Pat” Sheets and Crissy, Lakeland, FL, Todd Sheets and Daphne, Morgantown; one sister, Julie Hall and Ralph Phillips, Newburg; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mike is preceded in death by one brother, Barry Wayne Sheets. The family would like to thank WV Caring for all the love and support during this difficult time.
