Jeanette Renea Casteel

Jeanette Renea Casteel, 49 of Morgantown, WV passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 2, 1972 in Kingwood, daughter of the Esther Louise Sigley Casteel, Independence; and the late Carl Edward “Eddie” Casteel Sr. Jeanette graduated from West Preston High School, Class of 1991. She loved reading, cooking, doing crafts, listening to music and sitting on the porch. In addition to her mother, Jeanette is survived by her two daughters, Rachel Lynn Casteel, Morgantown, Hannah Renea Casteel, Weston; one sister, Teresa Lynn Casteel, Terra Alta; one brother, Carl Edward “Eddie” Casteel Jr and Susan, Independence; six nieces and nephews, Constance, Chasity, Christina, Jeremy, Jennifer and Zachary; and several great nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, Jeanette is preceded in death by one son, Brian Michael Anderson; paternal grandparents, John H and Genevieve A Haskiell Casteel; maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Rosie Hovatter Sigley. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, WV, on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm with Pastor Terry Wilt officiating.
