Jimmy Earl Reese, 37 of Independence, passed away October 5, 2020 as a result of a four-wheeler accident. He was born on October 6, 1982 in Morgantown, son of Richard Dale Reese Sr and his wife Judy, Point Marion, PA and the late Opal Fay Hall Arnold and Sheila and Joseph Braddock of Independence who raised him and gave him a home. He graduated from Moorefield High School. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and fishing. Jimmy is survived by one brother, Richard Dale Reese Jr, PA; two sisters, Edith Marie Reese, PA, Cathy Reese, NC; additional siblings, Ray Braddock and Virgie and children, Delbert Ringer Jr and April and children, Amy Burton and Scott and children all of Independence; great aunt, Wilma J. Delancey of Sistersville, WV; additional aunt, Carol Echols; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his mother, Jimmy was preceded in death by one, maternal grandfather, Richard Hall, maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Delancy Hall Scott; his uncle, David Lee Hall; sibling, Joseph Braddock Jr. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Friday, October 9, 2020 from 1 until time of funeral service at 3 PM with Rev Ray Frankhouser officiating with proper distancing and face mask required. Interment will be at Bock Cemetery.
