JOANN M. WOLFE (nee Melrose); 90, April 9, 1932- September 18, 2022. Joann was born in Mineral Wells, WV and grew up on a dairy farm. Joann was the daughter of Lena (Robinson) and Joseph Melrose. Beloved wife of Russell R. Wolfe for 67 years. Loving mother of Kenneth R. Wolfe (Cynthia) of Colebank of WV, Timothy L. Wolfe (Denise) of Chagrin Falls, OH and David M. Wolfe (Jennifer) of Lancaster, OH; Cherished grandmother of Lena M. Cline (Zach) of Thornton, WV, Justin J. Wolfe (Tana) of Northfield, OH, Sarah E. Weaver (Elliot) of Arthurdale, WA , Walter R. Wolfe of Mayfield, OH, and Matthew D. Wolfe (Shannon) of Indianapolis, IN; Dearest great-grandmother of Ezekiel Cline, Savannah Cline and Ava Wolfe; Dear sister of Betty Stevens ( the late Jack) of Mineral Wells, WV. Mark Melrose ( late Wanda Lou) of Mineral Wells, WV, Frank Melrose (Helen) of San Jose, CA, and the late Lettie Morris (Bob)and a loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Joann loved music. She was a music teacher and a substitute teacher, sang in a gospel quartet “Spiritual Overtones” and in her church choir. She sang beautiful songs and made wonderful cinnamon rolls to comfort family and friends. Family suggests memorial contributions in Joann’s name to the United Methodist Church of Macedonia 1280 E. Aurora Rd. Macedonia, OH 44056. A Celebration of Joann’s life will be held at a later date.
