Jonathan "Josh" Forbes Giffard, 62 of Thornton passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born January 31, 1959 in Princton, NJ, son of the late George Belvin Giffard and Barbara Williams Gifford. Josh had been a chef for Max’ and Erna’s Restaurants in Norfolk, VA. He is survived by his companion of eight years, Christina Marie Wood; one niece, Lindsay Axel Sullivan (Josh), Annapolis, MD; and her two sons, Jacob and Ethan. In addition to his parents, Josh was preceded in death by one sister, Pamela “Pixie” (Giffard) Axel.
