Joyce Lynn (Andrews) Cole

Joyce Lynn (Andrews) Cole, 65 of Newburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Cleveland Clinic. She was born on November 6, 1955 in Grafton, daughter of the late Edward Clinton “Clint” and Edith B “Braham” Andrews. Joyce graduated from Newburg High School Class of 1974. She started working at Hopemont Hospital out of High School and she retired from the FBI in 2017 as a NICS Examiner for over twenty years of service. She loved collecting lighthouses and angels. Joyce is survived by one step-daughter, Linda Wilson, and Ted, Weirton; one step-son, Dennis  " Al" Cole and Kimberly, Columbus, OH; several great step-grandchildren and  great-great step-grandchildren; one brother, Clinton W. Andrews and wife Donna of Grafton; two sisters, Debora S. Murray, Fellowsville and Wanda L. Scheuch and husband Mark of Independence; one  nieces and three nephews;  Joshua E. Murray and wife Kerri of Nampa, ID;  John W. Murray and wife Tonya of Morgantown; Markie Scheuch, Grafton; and Jessica Grieder and Brian of Fellowsville; several great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. “Gene” “Jeep” Cole in 2008; one step-grandson, Brandon Cole; one brother-in-law, Johnny Murray. Family will receive friends at Bolyard Funeral Home on Sunday, October 31, 2021, from 12Noon-6PM and Monday, November 1, 2021 from 9AM until time of service at 11AM with Pastor Edward Carpenter II officiating. Interment will follow at Fletcher Cemetery.
