Joyce Ann (Martin) Eagle

Joyce Ann Eagle, 78 of Fellowsville, WV passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at WV Caring Hospice in Elkins. She was born on January 26, 1947, daughter of the late Dell and Lurilene H (Simpson) Martin. Joyce had worked at the Heldreth Motel for many years. She was a very active member of The First Apostolic Church in Tunnelton. Joyce enjoyed watching WVU Football and Basketball, watching westerns on TV, and also watching the birds and deer. She loved her fury friends. Joyce is survived by eight nieces and nephews, Patricia Cline, Brenda Simons (Roger), Becky Wilt (Bruce), Eric Martin (Alisa), Curtis Martin (Anita), Christopher Martin (Marcie), Anthony Martin, and Kenneth Martin; and several great nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton C Eagle Jr in 2001; one sister, Betty Bell; five brothers, David Martin, Roy Martin, Everett Martin, Dorsey Martin and Raymond Martin, two nephews, Gary Bell Sr and Clyde Terry Bell. Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St. Newburg, WV, Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
