Joyce "Sis" Susan Baker

Joyce “Sis” Susan Baker, 72 of Reedsville, WV passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1950 in Crelin, MD, daughter of the late Hayward Clarence and Marjorie Marie (Davis) Baker. She graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1970. Joyce retired from Hopemont Hospital with thirty years of service as a Cook and CNA. She worked previously at the Chicken Plant in Oakland, MD. She was a very kind hearted, caring and loved to help anyone in need. Joyce is survived by one sister, Janet Faye Musick; great niece, Laura Smouse; eleven nieces and nephews; several great and great great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Bob Pyles; two sisters-in-law, Julia Baker, Rivesville, and Delora Baker, Terra Alta. Her four-legged companion, Buddy. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by two brothers, Steven Baker Sr. and Hayward “Pete” Baker Jr.; brother-in-law, David Musick.
