Karen Leigh (Grimes) Johnson

Karen Leigh Johnson, 61 of Kingwood, WV answered the call of her Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born April 13, 1958 in Greensburg, PA, daughter of Mary Sapp Grimes of Newburg, and the late Fred Grimes. She graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1976. Karen enjoyed doing crafts, spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Kingwood Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Frankie Gene Johnson, Kingwood; three sons, Matthew Johnson and Marguax, Aurora, CO, Gregory Johnson, Morgantown, Kurtis Johnson, Kingwood; one granddaughter, Nora Johnson. In addition to her father, Karen was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Harris. Family and friends will be received at Kingwood Church of Nazarene, 125 Wellsley Street Kingwood, WV on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 12 Noon until time of Celebration of Life Service at 1:00pm with Pastor Brian Detrick, Pastor Michael Delligatti and Don Hayes officiating.
