Karen Sue (Adams) Nantz, 72 of Kingwood, WV passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Preston Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 9, 1953 in Grafton, daughter of the late Clyde Howard Adams and Ruby L Adams Peach. Karen graduated from Newburg High School, Class of 1971. Karen was a member of the Camp Chapel Church at Campground. She had worked as a Data Entry for Home Health. Karen loved doing needle point, playing games on her phone, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Karen was survived by two sons, Timothy W Nantz, Reedsville, Jeremy F Nantz, Kingwood; five grandchildren, Aspen Moore, Emily Nantz, Dylan Nantz, Jeremiah Nantz, Jaden Nantz; four sisters, Virginia Hovatter (Robert), Evansville, Barbara Moury (Patrick), Denver, Brenda Johnson (Tommy), Reedsville, Sandy McElroy, Kingwood; one brother, Howard Adams (Rosanna), Campground; four half sisters, Melissa Brink (Michael) NY, Linda Horowitz (Matthew) NY, Helen Adams, Philippi, Carlene Dayton (Joey), Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Nantz in 2012; one son, Donald Ray Nantz in 1975. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM with the Pastor Tom Strahin officiating.
