Kathryn May (Eads) Phillips

Kathryn May Eads Phillips, 60 of Tunnelton, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Preston Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born on May 18, 1962 in Charleston, WV, daughter of the late James Norman Eads Sr and Goldie Josephine Boggess Eads. Kathryn loved playing games, gardening, going to the beach and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. Kathryn is survived by her husband, Richard Allan Phillips in Tunnelton; five children, James Allen Williams and Pamela, South Carolina, Ronald Keith Whaples, Charleston, Jonathan Wayne Williams, Illinois, Richard Phillips Jr, Tunnelton, and Amand Phillips, Illinois; eleven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; her siblings, Christine (Eads) Rose, James Norman Eads Jr, both of Poca, WV, Jennie (Eads) Wallace, Chesapeake, WV;  three brothers-in-law, Rodney Niles Phillips Jr and Wanda, Redfield, AR; James Ernest Phillips and Cindy, VA, Donald Harlen Phillips, Chicago, IL; one sister-in-law, Roxann K Shipley and Joe, Morgantown, IN. In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Joseph Eads; father and mother-in-law, Rev.
