Kathy Ann (Mayne) Strawderman

Kathy Strawderman, 68 of Tunnelton passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on February 15, 1957 in Baltimore, MD, daughter of Monalee Harris Mayne, Rowlesburg, and the late Earl Junior Mayne. Kathy graduated from Rowlesburg High School. She loved mowing, weed eating, gardening, taking care of her flowers, playing with her dogs, and drinking coffee. She attended First Christian Apostolic Church and Brother Josh came to the house to have service when she wasn’t able to attend. Kathy is survived by her husband, Orval Dale Strawderman; close friend, Jason Jeffries; four brothers, Charles Mayne, William Mayne, Paul Mayne all of Rowlesburg, Earl Harris, Baltimore; one sister, Lonna Duffitt, Rowlesburg; four sisters-in-law, Gail Wildman, Marquess, Loletta Uhler,  Masontown and Cristal Runner, Tunnelton, Beverly Pyles, Tunnelton; one brother-in-law, Arthur Strawderman, Philadelphia, PA; her caregivers, Chrissy Pyles, Alisa Sisler and Ashtin Sisler; and her favorite nephew, Ricky Pyles Jr; her four legged companion, Daisey Mae; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Henry Mayne; one sister, Louella Poling and one sister in infancy, Terri Marie Mayne. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Monday, August 4, 2025 11:00 – 1:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Campground Cemetery at 2:00PM with Pastor Josh Burke officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her Care Fund on her memorial page.
