Kenneth O. Knotts

Kenneth O Knotts, 90 of Fellowsville, WV passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 with family by his side. He was born on February 7, 1929 in Fellowsville, son of the late Charles Elmer and Bertie Mae Friend Knotts and step-mother, Grace Wolfe Knotts. Kenny served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked at Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore, MD as a laborer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching sports. He followed the WVU Mountaineers, Baltimore Colts/Ravens, and Orioles. Kenny is survived by his wife of sixty five years, Betty Jean Jenkins Knotts; three children, Cathy Ramsel and Robert, Baltimore, MD, Kenneth Duane Knotts and Anita, Baltimore, MD, Phyllis J Frazier, Tunnelton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by one grandson, Billy Hector, one son-in-law, Michael Davis; three brothers, Delbert Knotts, Dennis Knotts, Prentice Knotts; two sisters, Phyllis Cathell, Dee Solar, and a brother and sister in infancy. Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 2-8 pm and Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 9am until time of service at 11:00 am with Pastor David Freeman. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Col.
