Kenneth Dale Mitter

Kenneth Dale Mitter, 84 of Morgantown, WV passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Madison Center in Morgantown. He was born on November 23, 1935 in Newburg, son of the late Dorsey Fay and Freda Lavere Larew Mitter. Kenneth was in the US Air Force serving in Korean War.  He was employed and retired from Sterling Faucet with thirty years of service. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Shirley Elaine Dunn Mitter; two sons, Roger Mitter, Hedgesville, WV, Timothy P Mitter, Morgantown; two daughters, Linda Carol Mitter, Morgantown, Darlene Jean Mitter, Hundred, WV; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Mitter, Newburg; one sister, Russie Matlick and Jerry, Tunnelton; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by three sons, Dale, James and David Mitter; four brothers, Leonard Ray  Mitter, Russel Franklin Mitter, John William Mitter and Justice Junior Mitter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kenneth’s memory to WVU Children’s Hospital, One Medical Center Drive, Suncrest Center, Suite 350, Morgantown, WV 26506 or WVUkids.com. A Private Graveside will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Col.
