Kevin Eugene Marsh

Kevin Eugene Marsh, 60 of Tunnelton, WV, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on October 20, 1959 in Grafton, son of the late Sam and Patty Lee Layton Marsh. Kevin worked as a truck driver for many years, and currently was a Forman for Blacksville #2 Mines. He enjoyed racing cars, wood burning, watching birds, and making wire crosses. Kevin is survived by his wife, Virgie Rose Goughenour Marsh, Tunnelton;  five children, Brandon Eugene Marsh, Kingwood, Christopher Brian Marsh and Regina, Tunnelton, Blake Miller, Tunnelton, Amelia Jackson and Brian, Tunnelton, Dustin Miller and Markitta, Reedsville; thirteen grandchildren, Arianna, Stella, Elizabeth, Ashley, Gage, Devin, Janae, Dream, Damion, Dantae, Xander, Addie and Violet; one brother, Randall Lee Marsh and Darla, Tunnelton; one sister, Denise Evans and Tom, Aurora; two nieces and nephew, Nicholas Marsh and Billy Jo, Kingwood, Casey Simmons and James, Tunnelton, Holly Wiles and Seth, Aurora;  one aunt, Sandy Ferguson and Phil, Philippi, four uncles, Rich Marsh and Donna Jo, Roger Marsh and Sue, Donnie Marsh and Linda all of Philippi, Harry Burgoyne of Tunnelton; and his best friend, Dorsey Weaver; his four-legged bubbies, Rosie, Zeus and Molly. In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Overton and Hazel Poling Marsh, maternal grandparents, Noah Lee and Helen Louise Shaw Layton, one uncle, Jerry and Shirley Layton, two aunts, Marjorie and William Bucklew and Linda Burgoyne.  Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown Ave. Newburg, WV, Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service at 6pm with David Biggins officiating.
