Lawrence "Larry" Eugene Alborn

Lawrence “Larry” Eugene Alborn, 79 of Independence, WV passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Taylor Healthcare Center in Grafton with family by his side. He was born on November 16, 1944 in PA, son of the late Ira William Alborn and Georgia H Nye. Larry was a retired truck driver, and was self-employed and had his own Butcher Shop. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and being outdoors. Larry is survived by four children, Brenda Hartley and Harry, Independence, Kenny Alborn, Independence, Mary Frazee and Ed, Newburg, and John Alborn, Independence; seven grandchildren, Jacob Knotts and Kelysa, MacKenzie Hartley and Randy, Dylan Alborn and Rosemary, KJ Alborn, Carder Alborn, Kobee Frazee and Taylor, and Ethan Alborn; four great-grandchildren, Delilah, Emma, Richard and Ryder; one brother, Clyde Alborn, Auburndale, FL; one sister, Linda Spradlin, Melbourne, FL; and  a special Thank You to Mike Moore for all his care and kindness for Larry, and he had several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Andy, Kenny, Charlie, Raymond, Coral, Ronald and Helen.
