Linda May (Beckner) Hardy

Linda May Beckner Hardy, 70 of Masontown, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was born December 7, 1949 in Morgantown, daughter of the late John Kyle and Iva Elizabeth Roderick Beckner.  Linda was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to the Masontown Senior Citizen Center and socializing with all her friends and neighbors. Linda was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Linda is survived by two sons, Kenneth Boyd Hardy Jr. and Donna, Bruceton, Michael Allen Hardy and Melissa, Tunnelton; one daughter, Tracy Ann Wolfe and Jason, Tunnelton; nine grandchildren, Adrienne, Daniel, Caleb, Erin, Kayla, Megan, Jeremy, Rachel and Faith; ten great-grandchildren; John Beckner and Rhoda, Morgantown, George Beckner and Gloria, Booth, Ron Beckner and Sue, Morgantown; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Boyd Hardy Sr; siblings, Shirley Crawford Jefferson, Bill Beckner, David Beckner, Roger Beckner, Harry Beckner, Robert Beckner and two sisters in infancy. At her request she will be cremated with a Graveside at the WV National Cemetery on Monday October 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Craig Johnson officiating.
